24. October
Not much news from here - we have not been to any shows since the last update. Next show for us is next weekend in Belgium saturday and sunday is Chili entered Dutch Specialty.
18. September
This weekend we competed in Denmark at a Terrier Club show. Chili was elected as best female (BOS) an won her first Club CAC. The Club CAC is only awarded to a dog that is Danish Champion and placed 1st in champion class or 2nd after a Danish Club Champion. Now we will have to wait and see if it is possible to finish this title - I don't know if we are allowed to show amstaffs in Denmark next year, and we have no shows planned in Denmark for the rest of 2010.
14. August
Last weekend I took a very long drive to Eastern Finland together with another girl and her Parson Russel. The place to be this weekend was 3 x Cacib show in Kuopio. We started the trip wedensday - we drove 6 hours to Stockholm and then 10 hours with the ferry and after that another 6 hours drive through Finland to Kuopio. Friday was the first day - Chili was 3rd in her class out of 6 champion females. It was a very hot day with around 30 degrees. Saturday was an even harder day to show - it was 35 degrees - it was like a desert. Chili was very tired because of the heath and the ground was terrible like friday - we had to run on a horse track that was made of small sharp stones, so I was very very happy when Chili got her CAC and finished FINNISH & NORDIC CHAMPION. The Nordic title is only awarded to dogs that obtain 3 titles in the Nordic countries and it is not awarded very often in the breed. This was Chilis 8th adult champion title - she has won 6 of them the past 6 months - wich is quite an achievement, Chili is still a young dog and will turn 3 years next month.
10. May
Finally Chili is back home after her stay in The Netherlands. Since the last update Chili was shown one time in Belgium and 2 times in Germany. In Belgium she got reserve Cac, but because the winner already is Belgian Champion Chili will get a full point - very nice. At the first show in Germany Chili finished in style - you need 5 points in Germany, this show was show number 5 for Chili, and she also got her 5th point, so she is now GERMAN CHAMPION - this day Chili also was elected to Best Of Breed and in the group she was shortlisted, what a nice day. The breed judge is well known in our breed - Specialist for the bull breeds in the terrier group - Ortlieb Lothary from Germany, he judged the breed many times before. Sunday it was another day in Germany - Europasieger Show - one of the biggest shows in Germany together with the "sister-show" Bundessieger in the autumn. She show was judged by a breed specialist. Chili won champion class and 2 x Cac - at this show Cac counts double. Chili ended this show as best female no. 2. A very nice weekend for us :-) With these wins Chili got 6 champion titles and 27 Cac in the age of a little more than 2½ year - we are very proud. Thanks again to a great breeder and a great handler on Chilis show tour.

Here is a litte update from the shows Chili has participated in together with Rudi. At the show in Luxembourg with 101 entered amstaffs Chili got RCACL, she was second in champion class. After that she was at a show in Leiden where she was 3rd in her class. This weekend she competed in Goes also in The Netherlands - 2 times the judge was changed because of the volcano in Iceland. The show ended up with a Belgian judge and Chili was best female and got her last Cacib - so now she is INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION in the age of 2 years and 7 months, she got her first point end of March 2009, so she also finished this title very fast :-) We owe Rudi BIG thanks for this achievement and wish you the best of luck at the last shows before she will be back in Sweden again.

This weekend we went to The Netherlands, this time in Leiden a very nice spot in the country, small canals and mills - very dutch :-) The judge took her good time judging 49 dogs in the breed. Chili was last dog to be judged in the breed, she won champion class and was elected as best female. Chili got her final point and is DUTCH CHAMPION. The judge said after the show that she liked her very much and she also said she was elegant and a very showy dog :-) We are very happy for the result - it is her 2nd champion title in only a few weeks.
After a little shopping we went back to Sweden. Next show for Chili is next weekend in Luxembourg a big show with 101 amstaffs entered.
5. March
Here is a little new update. End of January I forced the weather and went to 2 dogshows in Denmark. First day Chili was 2nd in champion class and was 3rd best female - the next day she was placed 3rd in the class. I spend some time together with Kajsas breeder, Mette. We has a very nive day - thank you for a very nice dinner to her sister Camilla :-)
We have also been to the MAG test in The Netherlands - unfortunately Chili did not pass that test - for more information about why and why not, you are welcome to contact us instead of guessing and listen to gossip that is not true. We are happy that Chili passed the Swedish test last year with excellent results. The past weekend we went to Switzerland - Chili had the chance to finish Swiss Championship and she did - she took CAC, CACIB both days and was best female also both days and is now SWISS CHAMPION. My co-driver Sarah had 3 cocker spaniels with her - she also did a great job, her young male took BOB both days - only 15 month old. We had a long drive home through a bad hurricane but we made it and came home safe.

Better late than ever :-) Happy New everybody. Here is a small update for 2009.
It has again been a very nice for us in the show ring - Chili got many excellent results: 5 x BOB, 1 x BOB, 12 x CAC and 4 x CACIB - She finished Danish and Swedish Championship and got a group placement number 4 and has qualified to some Gala Shows also. We are now ready for a new year in the show ring and expect to finish some more titles in 2010. Outside the show ring Chili finished the Swedish temperament test with a nice result "An excellent example for the breed" was the comment from the team leader. Not to forget out to other family members Ivan and Kajsa - they are not shown anymore so they just enjoy life and our long walks in the forest and beach. In 2010 Ivan will maybe be shown in veteran class - my old guy turn 8 years old in April, so if he is in shape he will be shown a couple of times.
A new law is on the way on Denmark - we are "looking forward" to the result. There is much talk about a total ban for some breeds among them is american staffordshire terrier - it is heartbreaking to think of if this will be the result - we cannot do anything - just wait.
8. November
This weekend we showed at the biggest dog show in Denmark - 7000 dogs showed in 2 days. Saturday Chili won the biggest class in the breed - 12 females was entered. After that it was time for best female. Chili took Reserve female CAC and RCACIB. This was her final point i Denmark so she is now DANISH CHAMPION I am so happy finally to get this title and very proud. Of all countries we have shown in Denmark is the hardest country to compete in, there are many entries and many quality dogs. Sunday was Danish Winner Show - Chili was in champion class and was placed 4 out of 6 champion females.
In The Netherlands - Parastone'S Jimmy Junior also did a fantastic job - he took 3rd BOB in a row and also 2nd BIG in a row and ended up as Best In Show 2!!
24. October
It has been a while since the last update. We have been at some shows in Denmark and The Netherlands - Chili got some secondary placements Exl. 2, 3 and also a Very Good 4 in Denmark, LOL - cannot take a result like that serious. I know she does not deserve that.
Last weekend we visited Switzerland - double Cacib show in Lausanne. Chili took BOB both days. She got the 4th Cacib and is "unofficial" International Champion - we have to wait 6 months more before she can finish that title :-)
Our next shows are in Denmark and The Netherlands.
13. September
Today we competed in Sweden again. We went to Helsingborg - very close to our home. Chili was entered in open class. Chili won her class and was elected as best female - with this win she got the final CAC and is now: SWEDISH CHAMPION. Chili is 2 years and 9 days - they have to be 2 years old to finish this title. Chili finished the title with a blast - she also took Best Of Breed. We are very happy and proud of our girl.
11. July
I have again some GREAT show news to share. Yesterday Chili was reserve best female at a national show in Sweden - there where 33 amstaff entered under judge Mr. Carl Gunnar Staffberg also from Sweden. Today there was international show at the same show ground. Chili was elected to best female and got her final point (in theory). She is still to young to get her Swedish title. She got her second CACIB and was after that elected to Best Of Breed. There where entered 39 amstaff under judge Mr. Javier Sanchez Fernandez from Spain.
We waited 5 hours before the main ring - so finally it was time for the terrier group - the group was judged by a Finish judge Ms. Tiina Taulos - Chili was placed as number 4 in the group - what a day!! And another fantastic weekend - 3 CAC and 1 CACIB in two weekends - can it get any better?
6. July
This weekend we went to a show at the island Bornholm in Denmark. Chili was entered in intermediate class both days. She won her class both days and was elected as reserve best female and got CAC both days. We are happy with this result, she need 1 point to finish the title Danish Champion.
25. May
Last weekend we showed in Sweden. Chili was reserve best female saturday and got 2nd excellent sunday.
This weekend we where in Germany, Oldenburg. Friday Chili was elected as best female and got VDH CAC and Club CAC. Sunday She won her class again and got her 4th VDH CAC. She has been shown 4 times in Germany and need only 1 point to finish her German Championship. She cannot finish his championship before next year.
5. May
A few weeks ago we went to The Netherlands. Chili was entered in intermediate class. She took her 6th win in this class this year out of 7 shows. Later she was elected to reserve best female of the breed. Thank you to our friends in NL for another great weekend.
19. April
This weekend Chili was shown at a national show in Denmark. There where entered 43 amstaffs. The judge was Rajic Branislav from Slovenia. Chili won intermediate class. Next weekend we will go to Goes in The Netherlands.
10. April
At the Swedish Winnershow Chili got 2nd excellent. The next day we went to Denmark - Chili won intermediate class and was placed as 4th best female of the breed. It was Chilis 3rd show in Denmark - she almost got the CAC, but it was not close enough this time. We will give it another shot next week, we have entered CAC show in Hedensted. The week after that I will finally go to The Netherlands - we are looking forward to spend a weekend with our dutch friends again.
8. March
Today we went to a place called Bjuv. Chili was entered for the temperament test. She did a good job. The test leader was satisfied with her performance and said she was a well balanced dog with a nice temperament, very social - a good example for the breed. Next challenge for us is Swedish Winner Show in end of this month.
25. February
We have been at the first show this year. We went to Switzerland. Saturday we where judged by a judge from Slovakia - he gave Chili Exellent 1. Sunday we had a judge from Sweden - Chili got Excellent 1 again and she also got her first CAC in Switzerland - she was elected as second best female of the breed and got R. Cacib.
A very nice weekend for us - Chili achieved 7 CAC in 4 countries in 5 months. We are very proud of our little girl.
2. February:
Our planned breeding is online - check the page "Puppies" for more information. Both dogs tested HD/AA, temperament test, showed with exellent results and tested clear for ataxia. You are welcome to contact us and hear why we decided this combination and what we expect of the puppies.
We are warming up for the show season 2009. Chili is in great shape and we are looking forward to be back in the show ring later this month.
